Before & After Care

Pre-Waxing

  • Shower and lightly exfoliate the area you plan on waxing before your appointment using warm water.

  • Don’t use any lotions in the bikini area.

  • Bring with a clean pair of underwear to put on after your wax.

  • For best waxing results, your hair needs to be at least ¼ of an inch (about the length of a grain of rice).

  • Take an aspirin or Tylenol 30-45 min before if worried about the possibility pain.

  • No waxing if you are taking or using any medication that will thin the skin, such as Accutane or Retin-A.

Post-Waxing

  • Avoid using public bathrooms directly after your wax.

  • Keep hands away from touching freshly waxed skin.

  • Don’t use tanning beds or become exposed to direct sunlight for 24 hours.

  • For best results we recommend returning every 3-5 weeks for your waxing.
